Welcome to Discovery Woods, a Montessori inspired PreK – 6th Charter School!

Discovery Woods is a tuition-free K-6 charter school.  We also offer a tuition-based preschool for ages 3-5.  We embrace the diversity of our learners by using a variety of effective teaching methods combined with Montessori elements.

Discovery Woods is a Montessori Inspired Charter School

While we have the traditional combined age-level classrooms, some Montessori materials, and even some Montessori training, we don’t strictly adhere to Montessori methods. We follow the needs of our students, which means using a variety of effective teaching methods and materials both within and outside the realm of Montessori.

Healthy Lifestyle

Environmental Education is a big part of our mission, and we offer hands-on, engaging lessons to our students in order to enhance their love and knowledge of the environment.
